Dr. Mai was born and raised in Houston. He graduated from the prestigious University of Texas School of Dentistry right here in the Medical Center. He went on to complete a comprehensive implant residency. In addition to his dental degree, Dr. Mai has a background in public health and enjoys volunteering and mentoring. His patients describe him as gentle, patient, and compassionate. In his free time, he enjoys exercising and spending time with his wife and son.

Dr. Thu Nguyen is a proud alumna of the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, where she graduated summa cum laude and received the Advanced Restorative Award.  Her educational experience does not end there as she continues to stay up-to-date by taking many continuing education courses. This dedication to learning will only make her a more well-rounded dentist to educate her patients. She is also part of the ADA, Greater Houston Dental Society, and AGD.

Aside from dentistry, Dr. Thu values family and friends the most. They are an important part of her endeavors and achievements. She enjoys staying active with weight lifting, jogging and hiking.
